The conference on “Symbiosis of Literature and Psychology in Commercial Reality”
jointly organized by the PG departments of English and Commerce in ICW campus on 10th
February 2025 as per the schedule above began around 10.30 AM.
After the prayer hymn by the students, conference lamp was lit by dignitaries on stage which
is followed by Welcome Address and honouring the resource persons and Sisters. Rev. Sr.
Finnian Mary Kurusammal, the Secretary of ICW, Viriyur bestowed the whole conference
with her blessings of God. Rev. Sr. Dr. K. Lilly Mary, Principal i/c of ICW, Viriyur delivered
the key note address and highlighted the importance of conference. Then the resource persons
namely; Mrs. Nalini, Career Counselor- Dhanalakshmi Higher Secondary School, Chennai,
Dr. P. John Victor, Vice Principal, Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce, Dr.
R.K.S. College of Arts and Science, Kallakurichi, Dr. Mary Gabriel I. Associate Professor,
Department of English, Auxilium College (Autonomous) Gandhi Nagar, Vellore, delivered
message in the inauguration session.
After the tea break, technical sessions began with resource persons as invited speakers on the
topics "Exploring New-Gen Career Choices in the Field of Arts and Humanities”,
"Impact of Union Budget 2025” and “Problem-Solving and the Power of Story-telling in
Arts and Humanities” respectively. The technical sessions continued after the lunch in which
few students have presented their papers on the central theme of the conference.
In the Valedictory session, all the resource persons gave their remarkable feedback. After the
feedback session with vote of thanks came to an end at 03.30 PM.
We nourish the girls both mentally and physically by involving them in all activities to flourish in life.
